It is somewhat a shock to wake up one morning and realize that "privacy" is about to be an obsolete term. Take a look at google earth. That's just what's availible free, to the public. There's no reason the satellites can't be made more sophisticated, so much so as to track the movements of individual people, assuming they're not already capable of that.
The protection here is being boring. Most people have nothing to fear. They go an entire lifetime without doing a single thing that could be regarded as "suspicious". Someday, we will have to ask ourselves if the price for eliminating crime is simply too high in other respects. Someday soon.
