Clarification:
Gonzo journalism means the journalist writes about what they do while engaged and participating in an event. Regular journalism is more conventional, easier to follow, and hides its biases more cleverly by alledging objectivity. In any case, journalism does not mean writing exclusively about oneself.

There are times when the journalist should be invisible. What is said to them should be struck from the record. They should be the eyes and ears of the reader, not an indepedent body in of themselves.
