We are a society without fear. We recognize that life is struggle. Life is war. All of us are soldiers of freedom. We are not afraid to die. When the terrorists attacked us, they killed thousands. But we refused to be afraid. We took only the most cursory and non-invasive procedures. No arrests were made. Nothing was changed. Statistics were rolled out showing that the 3000 deaths were only the tiniest dent in our population growth. Our culture is unchallenged. We accepted the casualties as neccessary to protect our way of life. They rarely strike, but when they do, only they are afraid. They are afraid because we do not fear them, not even in the slightest. There is no screaming when they detonate thier bombs. We refuse to fight them, and they are too weak to destroy us. They have killed fewer than 10,000 of a nation of 300 million. Pathetic. They feel themselves to be waves washing up against the rocks. They have trouble recruiting people. Who wants to die for nothing, for no impact? We have conquered death, and with that conquest, all others follow.
